Bengali movie fans are in for a treat as Jeet’s latest action-packed film, Chengiz, is all set to release in theaters on April 21st. The talented actor took to Twitter to share the exciting news that Chengiz will be the first-ever Bengali film to have a simultaneous Hindi release, thus increasing the film’s reach to a wider audience.
Directed by Rajesh Ganguly, the film promises to be a thrilling experience as it delves into the underworld fabric of Calcutta from the ’70s to the mid-90s. Jeet, who is known for his versatile acting skills, dons an entirely different avatar in this movie, described as “deadly yet chic” by the makers. Along with Jeet, the film stars Shataf Figar, Susmita Chatterjee, and Rohit Bose Roy in pivotal roles.
Chengiz has been produced by Jeetz Filmworks in association with AA Films and co-written by Rajesh Ganguly and Neeraj Pandey.
